Not a bad story idea. Though the grammar could be better, I know some people struggle with English, I know I do, and I’m an English major lol. The story feels like it’s somewhere on a pendulum swinging back and forth between English and Chinese writing style. The MC is kinda stupid, but what MC isn’t stupid a lot in the beginning? Overall, not a bad story, but could use some grammar fixing and perhaps some changes.

I think you are poor in writing a world background because if the ratio of male is less than female even poor orphan should be treated 100 times better than you have written and girls would be more submissive and treating boys better than written even so for handsome boys because if not the population of boy will continue to decrease and this will be a problem for the government in the novel you are writing and please don't add rose in the harem or restaurant manager
