I'm annoyed. I'm annoyed as hell. And no, it's not that he smokes pot all the time...although that annoyed me too. But not as much as the actions of the main character. But the thing is, no matter how "colorful" his life is shown to us, the guy himself lives in a kind of illusion. It's like he doesn't believe he's really in a different world and continues to persist in not caring about everything. The same goes for the rest of the characters, most of whom only play along and indulge the protagonist. And his relationship to the Cullen family? What the hell is he doing? As a guy, he's too infantile for his age, and it proves once again that he doesn't realize the situation he's in. You could say a lot of things about him, but the author is the one who made him that way. It was the author who made it that way...and it makes you feel so wistful, because the work had so much potential. I tried to hold on, but moments like him closing the doors right in front of the Cullen couple were still fresh in my mind. Fuck, if you don't want to get involved, get the fuck out of town! Get out of town and let the future take its course. His attitude towards people, brings out something violent and fierce in me. I want to take my belt and slap that asshole so hard! All this squabbling with Rosalie...oh poor Rosalie. I'd help her, but unfortunately she's just a character in a book you can't get to...There are so many thoughts in my head. So many things I want to say, but screw it. In short, the main character doesn't deserve anything the author has given him. Relationships with Leah, Rosalie, just surrounding the hero, he doesn't deserve any of that. The main character is the consistency of such hypocrisy, because he doesn't really care about Rosalie or Leah. He only cares about himself and his own gain. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit and emotions are talking in me, but damn the main character...Ah, screw that hero. Let the author deal with him himself. I guess I was too much immersed in another story again, which left an unpleasant aftertaste. I'm not giving this fanfic one star. After all, let the readers judge if they found any unanimity with my review or if it's all just fucking subjective opinion. To the author creative success. And morally pleasant main characters.
