The Grand Line is divided into two halves by the red line, with the first half known as "Paradise" to its residents. Although unpredictable and dangerous, it pales in comparison to the second half, known as the "New World," which is much more difficult and dangerous. The Four Emperors unofficially rule the New World, making it an even more treacherous place to navigate for pirates.
