Having read and reviewed a plethora of books, I can assert that it has become increasingly difficult to find a story that effectively rotates characters' POV and still maintains a well crafted narrative. However, the author does it expertly. The book is engaging and possess intriguing characters with distinct voices. I'll recommend it to anyone who is up for a good story.

There is a lot to unpack with the complex social situation set up in the first six chapters. The author does great work with her descriptions and the way she lays out the situation as she moves through the plot. Auden and Eve are characterized well but there's not a lot of room for others to shine for the first part. That said, getting into the action quickly is handled well, and where I felt a little lack of characterization just means there's room to grow! It's an intricate beginning to what I think will be a solid read as the story progresses!

Writing style is clear and concise. Decent descriptions of characters and locations, but what should attract and keep you reading is the absolute amount of mysteries on those pages and Auden`s ability to constantly get into trouble and produce drama. Swear to god she could generate a major crisis by going grocery shopping. Overall suggested to read.
