As someone who typically shies away from the fantasy genre, I was pleasantly surprised by this book. While I tend to prefer more grounded, realistic stories, this book managed to capture my attention from start to finish with its compelling characters and immersive world-building. One of the things I appreciated most about this book was the way it seamlessly blended elements of fantasy with more relatable, human themes. Even though there were magical beings and mystical powers at play, the heart of the story was really about the struggles and triumphs of the characters themselves. I found myself invested in their journeys and rooting for them every step of the way.
