The sequel to Instant Transmigration: Goddess of My Imagination. Honestly, there is too much preliminary knowledge needed for this part of the epic, so as someone who completed the original book and is updated to around chapter 190 at the time of reviewing, I would highly recommend anyone wanting to read this story to start back at the beginning in the 1st part of the epic, and grind your way up to this one. I am using the term "epic" because the story has reached that length. This is a sort of "staple" story like how One Piece is a staple anime you can always come back to. Updates are daily and committed, so you can count on the author seeing this through.Due to the nature and length of the story, world building is fairly strong. My guess is the only way to improve this is to dive deeper into country's, in-story religion's, species/racial unique idiosyncrasies (as random examples: a country's unique traits like having a massive bottomless pit in its center with some history behind it, being at war with another country, preferring fist fighters over weapon users, and having it's main businesses being mining, gym bodybuilding and training, and wrestling; religions whose god forbids fishing, the DJ god who has his followers beatbox during prayer, wear togas, and encourages having pets and creating music; and a butterfly or capybara beastman or slime, boulder, or banana dryad race with whatever weirdness they bring to the table.) Thats's the kind of craziness, but unique world building that could spice things up further. Some of it might be too far, but the point is: creating unique settings and people might help in creating interesting worlds, situations, and conflicts. *this is just a suggestion. World building otherwise accomplishes what it needs to for the story if those kind of unique settings would be too distracting. Now for my take on the story thus far:-First of all, having read through the 1st portion of the epic, the author's writing style has improved and continues to do so. If you've read the last book and this one and paid attention, you'll absolutely have noticed questions left unanswered and subtle hints towards future chapters; some resolved, some not. From me to another fellow reader, don't be disheartened, I have personally held on from update to update and I promise you, unless something is very minute, it is likely not forgotten and will be addressed at some point. I do not intend to spoil anything, but in order to discuss some "meta" parts of the story, I will have to hint at "if you know, you know" type spoilers from this point on. *Side note: Please join the author's discord.- A weakness in part 1 that had been addressed even before this book, the characterization of the main characters of the story, has been steadily improved upon in this book. There are A LOT of secondary characters in this story. And I mean A LOT. This leads to less time to address and develop each of these secondary characters, else risking stagnating the plot of overshadowing the main characters. The characters also tend to gather around the main character, for obvious reasons, but at times, it leads to hindering them from taking control of their lives, accomplishing personal goals, improving themselves, solving their own problems, training, etc because they follow the main character who dictates the plot. By the setup of this story and in general, I can see this has been addressed or at least is being balanced, as difficult as it is to do. We can see the characters developing their personalities, mindsets, ideals, and unique problems as they were forcefully separated from the main character. They are "growing up" and handle things in their own way.- What I've also noticed in the overall story thus far is an improvement in the "by the book" feeling the story feels at times. The recurring characters definitely have earned a level of prestige, and can act upon it. A lot of the time, characters have an air of "appropriateness" and knowledge and wisdom, however... they also slip up from time to time and have to play situations by ear! Characters from time to time, trip up, make mistakes, display their own unique quirks when doing/reacting to things. It makes the characters seem more "human" as well as providing a lighthearted breath or comedic moment in normal moments and a break between serious moments. (the main character is kind of a dork at times and completely misreads social situations and queues at times, while at other times is spot on and knows more than others think.) The frequency of moments like these has improved over the story and I hope to see more of them.As of now, around chapter 200, this part of the epic is, I would guess, still in it's prologue stages in exploring the new world, bringing the part 1 characters back together, and setting up for the next conflict(s).There's probably more to talk about, but I'll leave it here and challenge our author and main character to reach even further into the depths of their imaginations.
