I MUCH prefer to have 40 chapters built up before I read a book since otherwise they are just too short but sometimes I will break this little personal rule of mine if I feel like I’ve put a book off longer enough/or am too interested to not just outwrite read no matter the chapter count But Majority of the time I wait till 30-40 chapters are out (Preferably 40)

That’s a good rule to have. I am usually too impatient and read immediately especially to find out if I like a story or not so I don’t wait so long and end up getting my hopes up for nothing.
