The ninja test in the story is boring, Rather than focusing on the protagonist and his journey, we're subjected to pointless and meandering dialogues that probably exactly the same in the original or some other fanfiction. Then the protagonist randomly blows up a forest, never trying to hide anything, instead he shows his power to everyone, even though he claims earlier that he wants a peaceful life, which is something that was never interesting or believable in the first place.
