One of the best novels. System isn't annoying nor humanlike, is just numbers essentially. Progression is logical and no sudden random spin the wheel for heavenly dragon breathing techniques. World is interesting and characters are logical. Side characters aren't blindly loyal to the vengeful beautiful girl and deny her revenge since it might put them in danger. MC is smart and doesn't blindly put himself in danger. He also adjusts his thinking and foresees the potential danger in letting more zombies evolve so he helps kill some from safety and helps other groups. I have very high hopes for this novel since it seems like it has alot of potential.

The best part of this novel is the fact that the MC dosen't become a "ultra leader alpha sigma mega duper guy" who does everything for its own when the he becomes OP, his personality it is the same as always, and any change in this it isn't instant but a process. The story by itself isn't anything above the average but it works fine with the good and consistent character design

Highly recommended. Mc is a weird guy, even before there were signs of an apocalypse he was already fortifying his house, Mc is literally paranoid about the apocalypse, any kind of apocalypse, the fact that a black tower appeared in the middle of New York made him even more paranoid. Of all the novels in the Trial this is undoubtedly the best, his Cheat does not make him instantly invincible so it is very interesting to know that he is in real danger if he puts himself in danger. His decisions are very consistent with his paranoid personality, an attractive woman wanted to trick him out and take over his fortified house but the MC realized it was a ruse so he didn’t let her in, then he saw that she was planning to set off fireworks in front of his house in order to attract the zombies who have a great sense of hearing to kill him so with his paranoia (very justified) he came to the conclusion that he had to go out and kill the girl and her group.

it's not for me, I just can't accept the MC's personality and choice, that's not being cautious, it's more like a coward he can evolve indoors but outside it would be much faster, he wants to have attributes of 100 for zombie defeats from 12? is that being cautious? It doesn't work for me, apart from the fact that he hides inside the house and doesn't come out within 30 caps, he only came out once and that's because he was "thanked" to leave because if it were up to him he would stay there for the rest of his life.

Another halfa$$ novel with minimum logic behind it.Don't know what people see is this garbage.

Stacking-type powers is my favorite because it is OP but it depends. ~So I wait for the trial read.

Gave it a solid try but it is garbage up till chapter 10 but I’m not reading more of this
