This book has been a joy to read with a MC who is a truly complex but quite a loveable character and a love story spanning more than one lifetime. I have cried alongside some of the characters as well as laughed out loud at the shenanigans the MC and his family past and present has got up to. The supernatural element to the story has been spine chilling too. I cannot recommend the book enough. It is a wonderful story and I very much plan to read it until the end. Of course, I’m hoping for a truly happy ending.

The author here~ with a shameless 5 star review for the work because I like the stars. (Yes, it is really me. This novel is non-execlusively contracted that's why.) Chapters at the time of review: 1 Prologue 97 chapters and 3 extras. The current arc is ending and the actual romance will start soon. I know, I know, it is a slow burn such a pain... But sue me for loving a slow burn. Now, I will say that I spent quite some time in world building and characters and plot and what not. What to expect from this novel? Two romances spanning across two lifetimes, both the same individuals but neither of the two are aware, one more ignorant of it than the other. Yup, y'all get two romances, two stories at the price of one. Painter gong MC (he can and will bite) with complex moral compass. Two in one — or rather one in two — ML of both the first and the second lifetimes. More than just a romance or healing, it's a story of second chance thrown in a mix with paranormal happenings and... Thriller, I guess. Expect murders in the coming volumes. Moving on, I would like to laugh at my past self for thinking that this was going to be a short quick, painter MC and musician ML with supernatural elements novel. No, it isn't. One volume, three extras and ongoing second volume later, this story is still far from finished. The story of Lin FenXiang (Drystan Meyer) and his second chance at love and at life is still far from over. I don't usually give full marks but for you author, I can do this much for you. You got me engrossed so much that if it wasn't for the lack of coins, heheh, I would have continued and hopefully I will. The story is very captivating and pulls one in to read more. So many mysteries I want to know more about. Loving the book and keep up the good work.

This is an absolute freaking masterpiece! I loved it and will definitely read it again. It's not just about the plot, the twist, the beginning, or the end. It's about the journey and the psychological impact of little things along the way. The book is a powerful read, both bitterly funny and profoundly tragic, with great insights into art and music. It's perhaps my favorite book, with a unique and interesting setting and thought-provoking commentary. Although it is not a particularly challenging read, it is sure to leave a lasting impression. I highly recommend it

ahem if you know me yk romance isn't my thing. but at the end of the day I'm a young maiden at heart. I'll scream wiggle and sob the moment I see your good ol' romance. in all honesty idk what to say. While I haven't had a chance to read all that much of it, the story is instantly very alluring and the synopsis is an immediate hook that draws the reader in. The prose is also extremely creative and fresh and on top of that, the concept itself is fairly original as well. All that being said, I look forward to reading more!
