Man, honestly, I’m not a fan of any huge Harems. I think I might accept the maximum of three girls. I understand that’s it’s okay for authors to try and write the situations where the MC gets to have a couple more girls each time they write a new novel, cause even in real life many people have mistresses and secret lovers who they cheat on their wives with. It’s okay to write about it. But when it gets over the top, I really can’t connect to the character, which should obviously be a goal that any author pursues.
If you really want to write a Harem story, at least watch the Magnificent Century series, learn the concept of faction infighting in the Harem, countless schemes to stand above, to be chosen etcetera. Don’t make them all bland and accepting of everything MC does, cause that makes the girls look like they have a Stockholm syndrome.
I must also add that I don’t quite understand why most authors try to place the fem characters into 4 main categories of personalities, Yandere, Tsundere, Kudere, and Dandere? I mean humans obviously have a very wide emotional spectre, personal feelings, minute differences, and so much more to the personality that the authors portray.
So, NO HAREM for me, thnxs
