The mc (Wei Wushang) is pretty interesting, his character grows from a naive, bullied and neglected child to a youth who found a new reason for his life after the death of his parents, this new reason or path leads him towards the world of cultivators. Due to the fact there's only 14 chapters there isn't many side characters introduced and those who appeared didn't get the focus due to the mc but from I saw I believe this will change we just need to wait for more chapters. For now it's only been 14 chapters so I can't really comment on the updating stability or story development yet (The author is known for starting good stories and then dropping them, so be cautious when starting). The world building is still not explored fully, we still didn't even reach the sect so, but from what I saw it's basically the usual cultivation world (it has sect selection event in villages, dangers lurking around everywhere etc...). Now for the power system, it's mainly the cultivation of spiritual essence (Qi) to use it in techniques like wind blades or to use it to power you martial spirit (It's basically unique abilities in each cultivator like defensive and offensive abilities, thoughts acceleration, etc...), it's nothing new but it's done fairly well I hope the author doesn't mess it up in the future. In conclusion I hope the author doesn't drop this work too because I really see potential in it for greatness.
