Better title would have been "The cute saint among humans".. he is literally so childishly kind and has saint like compassion, makes you wonder how he survived without parents and working part-time with a traumatized sister who was hurt by this ugly world.. which atleast I don't believe are possible for any human, so I can only guess he was a reincarnated saint god or something which doesn't sit that well with me in the character build up... I still feel many other characters are pretty childish as well

There’s a saying I like that goes ‘no one will ever understand how much violence it took for me to become this gentle.’ I feel like that perfectly encapsulates Malachi and who I wanted him to be, because even though he’s suffered so much in different areas he’s somehow oblivious to the pain that would have hardened most people, and he continues trying to show love and compassion to those close to him irregardless of past experiences. Even when his personality changes, it isn’t born because of a slight he suffers, but instead a need to protect and avenge everything he holds dear. He’s no less of a regular human than you or I, he just responded to adversity in a different way.

For anyone who is from the south or has experienced southern culture, you will relate to the mc. He is a principled, family driven, and responsible black man. That is the best way to describe him without spoiling. His powers only allowed him to better act upon those traits. The writing quality is great. The character interactions are always a great thing to read. They feel like family. I love this book and I suggest you give it a chance. Warning: you will learn some southern slang reading this 🤣

read the other novel, it was great. but MC here is a goody shoes and self righteous. that okay because it can personal choice of reader but the problem is MC here literally c*ck. ya he gets c*ck and he still is emotional about her.I still don't believe it that it is written by same author as other novel(first demonic dragon).

Like everything up until that yuri, yup, nope, I’m out. Great story author but I ain’t coming back. Other than that and it needing some more world development, I think it’s fine, I just can’t. Especially between his sister and best friend, that’s like 1000x worse for me

definitely a romance story rather than fantasy. it's well written and if that's your type of genre you'll probably enjoy it. I personally think the harem is just way too big already and we're only at chapter 90 it feels a little like the author has a big and well done emotional arc planned for every new member of the harem but since once that story is told you wouldn't immediately have another big trauma/emotional moment to cover they just introduce another character wether this is ultimately what this story will become or not i can't say at this point. The fantasy elements are too irrelevant to the story for my liking and barely even qualify as a sub plot at perhaps 1/10th of the story content. We barely have any relevant dungeon clearing (2 so far and they were very quick and kind of mid) the exploration of the MC's powers's also gets very little room and tends to happen of screen which is a cardinal sin imo

Loving the story so far, its a little fast paced when there's nothing important and keeps the romance at a slower rhythm but still enjoyable. The story keeps its self fresh (at least in the first 31 chapters) and lets the reader enjoy the story and its pace. Greatly recommend it. For the people that think its yuri, it isn't...
