People might get confused by the synopsis. I was too. 1. She married the "Prince" He's most likely the emperor's brother. In their previous life, the ML liked the Prime Ministers' daughter (Who was from the 21st century. typical person who knows medical skills etc. There is the crown prince (the emperor's son) and the prince (the emperors' brother) and Su Qing chose the crown prince which left the prince heartbroken. Took the FL to the military camp and left her there. They lived together for 10 years and he eventually fell in love. Then the FL was imprisoned by the enemy and was shot and she died. Then the ML saw her and realized he fell in love then they were reborn. The FL isn't aware of the MLs' feelings however she liked the freedom of being the consort so she went with the original plot. 2. There was another character who was from modern times and stole the original marriage the FL had with the Duke ( I think this is a different timeline) So all in all, this one is very interesting. Please read through it first before giving reviews as it's a waste for these great novels not to be translated.

When the ML was young, he was bullied by other kids and he fell into an animal trap. He passed out of hunger and when he woke up, Su Qing was there and she said he had beautiful eyes (which were blue and normal in modern times but in ancient times he was called a monster). He thought she risked her life to save him. He has the second ML halo so catching feelings was inevitable and it was designed that he falls for her. But then he learned that Su Qing did not save him but a hunter did. Jiaojiao and him lived together for 10 years and his feelings gradually changed. His feelings for Su Qing was so-so but his feelings for Jiaojiao is real. It's just that he was so focused on the real crown princes' investigation and finding his lost son (the original crown prince was killed and he has a son who was born and taken away) that it was too late when he realized he fell harder for Jiaojiao after that he just lived drinking and regretting and then when he woke up he was reborn. It a very interesting story with hidden masters with powers in it you will be surprised.
