Yeah, I was looking forward to the build up that was going on with the girls in earlier chapters. “Practice” dates, tasteful flirting, starting as close friends, but it went from 0 to 100 so quickly. I’m sure Einlion will blame the people who wanted a harem, but Ein had the MC “cast a wide net” from the start and then said that it would end in a 1-3 girl harem by the end. That idea was quickly retconned and it became this lemon fest instead. You can skip or skim through them and the story becomes a bit bearable without losing out on anything though.

Yeah I personally don’t like harem but this story was good enough to continue reading. But after the harem kept growing it felt like things dumbed down. I’ve never read any of his other stories but apparently the harem always grows too large and ends up becoming a drag.
