Just a worse version of "The Novel's Extra". Copying the plot, settings, and even the golden finger, only done poorly. Filled with endless info dumps, countless fourth wall breaks, and forced humor that doesn't really land most of the time. "Oh just read until chapter *blank* it gets good." If I have to read dozens of bad chapters to get to the "good story", then it's not a good story.

LIKEDoes the mc finally get the ability to think in later chaps? I'm on ch17 and all i see is a retard. Btw whats the mc like in TAPOV? If the mc is ruthless and decisive enough, i will give it a read
Rua1612:I understand your thoughts as I feel the same way about a lot of books, but you also have to consider that TAPOV was the same way before it became incredible. While I agree that some parts are hard to digest, this has still been one of the best novels I have ever read.
I realise now that he only starts to enact plans from chapter 49 onwards which is a while away (plus it looks like the book's been dropped). The mc in TAPOV is very smart and ruthless but this only starts in chapter 47 and becomes more obvious in chapter 66 onwards. If you want a book where the mc is extremely decisive and ruthless, I'd recommend 'I'll surpass the mc' but it is a lot to read.

Thanks for the info. I was holding back from reading "I'll surpass the mc" after seeing some complaints which included inala(forgot the context) looks like it's time to continue it
