I just finished volume 1 and there are no spoilers below :) I’m honestly blown away. There were some mistypes along the way, but I don’t think I’ve been so captivated by a book in a while. The writing style was refreshing to say the least, and usually when an author hides important plot information from me (the reader) I get a bit irritated at how obvious it is they are going to use it for some dumb reason and ruin the story. This was definitely not the case here. I actually enjoyed being led by the nose during this read. It felt like the author had a well planned and thought out story before they started putting It onto a page, and I really appreciated that. It made me look forward to that little bit of information the author might drop every chapter, and I didn’t want to skim or skip chapters (like I might usually do during other reads 🫣) because I was actually invested in what I was reading (unlike most book where I can predict the story 10 chapters ahead 🫥). **************************************** Long story short this book is awesome so far, and even if I don’t find myself finishing this one, I will definitely be keeping track of this author and their works!! I recommend anyone else do the same. It’s harder and harder to find quality work that makes you want to write a long review anymore. ****************************************
