The title of the book caught my attention on the very first day it popped up on the event page of Romance Carnival, and the fact that the book ranked at the top made me curious enough to add it to my library. And 65 chapters into the story, I can't praise my choice enough! 🤩 The author has come up with a contemporary romance after a long time. I am already a fan of her 'Toxic' series, and now I am a bigger fan of Elena and Devon because they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!💥💥 They are everything but like your typical leads. Devon is not invincible and untouchable. In fact, he is charming, sweet, sarcastic, vulnerable, insecure and hardworking. He doesn't shy away from laughing at his heart's content or crying his heart out whenever he is alone. He is a billionaire and yes, arrogant too, but he is also a compassionate and patient man who cares for his family very much. And his bond with Christine is just the rarest gem we find in today's world! Elena is a strong female lead which is the USP of author rutujap's works. She is confident, sassy, bossy, and even nosy and doesn't back down from her beliefs and values. And the best part- she is the perfect combination of style, grace, strength and obsession with food!😂😂😁 What else one could ask for?! I also love the character arcs of both leads as well as each side character. We love some, sympathise with some and hate some. The characters are so relatable and close to reality that their stories and ride of emotions, which they undergo during each chapter is fascinating and keeps you engaged throughout the story. Amazing story with full of twists and turns.. If you are reading her works for the first time, then I must tell you, don't even think of skipping this one.. i literally hold onto my nerves every second chapter because of her chapter endings that constantly keep readers on the verge.. Just give this book a try.. you will regret skipping it.. it's a perfect combo of mystery, romance, thriller with major plot twists that you can't even think of! She is just amazing
