I truly love the way this storyline has started off. It stirs my emotions when the wife takes over the lead role while hubby is MIA! Please continue with is I like the female lead with her no nonsense attitude but firm convictions.

The FL has a strong personality. The twist that she transimigratet in future from an old dynasty is something I like.

this novel has a combination of other novel. In the part of the ml leaving after getting married and the pregnancy stunt is a little bit similar to " madam is a sensational figure in the city". While in the area of her going for brother-in-law has a similar part in "the crippled boss loves me". I was reading and was getting confused because it keeps looking like I have read a similar story but I have to check and see the different points in it.

I really liked the beginning. Strong, interesting characters and FL was awesome. The plot was not on the strong side, unfortunately, there were some pretty heavy deux ex machina in the middle of the story. And if I say that the ending was rushed, it's only half the truth. Quite disappointed in this one. At least it had decent translation which is not given on this page as of late. SPOILER ! ! ! I really liked our main villain Jiang cause he had character and was clever. Maybe too much because writer did him dirty and used quite heavy handed twists to make him less desirable partner than ML. Our FL also was suddenly very cold and ultra rational in everything related to him which just left bad taste in my mouth, especially when she was emotional towards our ML. It was in the middle of the story and I needed to take a break fromt this novel because of it. ! For anyone who cannot finish the story, here is brief summary: She will end up with ML. Probably because the finale was so rushed the unfinished plotlines are like little tentacles all around it. ML Shi returned to country safe and soudn, initially uninterested towards FL, slowly falling for her. In very immature way, in my opinion. Comparison to villain Jiang... le sigh. But he cared for her and was capable in managing company. Villain Jiang (sorry if names are wrong, bad memory) was her childhood friend from previous life who "summoned" her to this world. He really loved her and did many things for her. When FL first arrived, she lost her memories of her husband and villain - which she has done herself to forget villain IN HER PREVIOUS LIFE. They were kind of childhood sweethearts but as general daughter, she married for politicks. She made here choice in not marrying villain and drank water from river of forgetfulness to forget him. In order to help her remember, he prepared movie filming with their story from previous life depicting everything. Eventually, FL remembered. Villain Jiang was done dirty by author and was portraited as megalomaniac and ruthless character in previous dynasty for which our FL didn't want anything to do with him. She even kind of tricked him so he will be unable to marry her (told him she will marry the best ranked guy in the emperor's exams - she knew it would be best "warrior" and tricked him to obtain the best scholar title). In the end, he ended up as fiance of some Song chick which he will probably off in the future cause she arranged kidnapping of FL and wanted her rxped and our villain loves FL much soo... Siblings are ok and doing good, probably. The first villain was Jiang, second master moving in the shadows was that Li Ci (?) guy who wanted compete with Shi and Jiang families, and third was some unknown figure who really messed up the plot and had good understanding of the situation (kind of prophetic) and wanted Shi family destroyed. We never found out who it was, my personal bet was probably FL previous husband from last life? Just had this feeling. The story unfortunatelly got dropped before it was finished. As for the chick who ML found in Africa - she was manipulative, white lotus character and she was working for third unknown villain. Not even sure if she liked ML, tbh.
