This book has potential and it is unfortunate that it is heavily flawed. The author attempts to creates conflict in the beginning of the chapters by making mc the underdog, nothing wrong with that, but the author chooses the worst possible way to do it. The author basically uses the common Chinese novel trope where everyone dogpiles on the mc for no real valid reason. There are better ways to create an underdog situation. Like I said this book has major potential but if the author commits to cliches and trash tropes like that, you will kill it.

true true, but you're a veteran and there's the not cliche yet for newbie, also the academy setting, the target audience should be 16-17 y/o. so very balanced imo
then there should be a tag specifically for new readers if he or she doesn't want the whole spectrum of people to read his or her work.
