MC family/family friends at several points in the story it's stated how so and so foreigner thinks they're better than Chinese people but actually Chinese are better the protagonist tries to take back shares of Chinese companies from foreigners because they should belong to Chinese people but happily accept share of foreign companies the MC also makes a point to basically only speak Chinese (because he's Chinese) and expects others to speak Chinese to accommodate him even in foreign countries (note. he can speak other languages he just doesn't want to because he's Chinese)
