Before I share my love for this story, you need to know that it's another sudden ending out of nowhere... it literally ends mid-thought, at a climax! No attempt at all to tie up any and all loose ends and storylines.😑 I'm not super mad though, like with other early ending novels on here. I guess since they didn't bring in an unrelated person to squeeze an ending out, maybe? 😅 But there's no way someone could force an ending out of where they stopped it. Probably not even with 50 more chapters! That's how suddenly it ends, and how many open plot lines are fully active. So be warned before you spend your money! That being said, I loved it!!!!!! (And would love more, if there's a 'part 2'...🥺 WebNovel, you know how wrong you were with this!!!) I enjoyed the progression, the characters, and the 'world'. Even the nonsense white lotus dramas and such that are needed for these plots weren't terrible and drawn out. Bai Lin slaps faces immediately, and doesn't suffer fools lightly. But she also doesn't start the drama. So to me, she's a wonderful FL! Oh how I wish I could read how the rest of the story plays out! 😭 It really did feel like it made it the near the end of the MIDDLE of the story... So many questions and issues are unanswered. In fact many questions haven't even progressed to being asked! 😭 Oh well... though I loved it, I'm not sure if I'm glad I read it since it didn't even make it to near the end. I wish I could tell you that it's a must read! Because it almost was! But it hurts too spend a ridiculous amount of money on a 'book' that doesn't even end. If it was a paperback, and I only paid 20 bucks or so for it, the pain would be much less. So do with that what you will. Guess I should be happy it wasn't 2,500 chapters in when it was abandoned.🤷🏼‍♀️ If I find a second book that continues the story I'll adjust or remove this review, as I really loved this story and don't want to harm it if I'm misinformed. 💖😘

This book is not complete and it literally ends in the middle of the action. If you like reading stories with satisfying endings this is not for you. Hence the reason I try not to read incomplete books.
