Great Fanfic. Quick question, after you have finished writing the original dark souls, will you move onto 3 or 2? (I’m asking this since 3 takes place after ds1)

An okay read but wouldn't recommend it to others unless they are obsessed with dark souls to the point that they are willing to forego quality because 'dark souls'. I feel like the author lost their drive for the story partway through and started using badly done romance and random berserk moments as a crutch so they wouldn't need to think their way through certain things and keep up with their release schedule. Writing quality: Pretty good spelling, there are a few odd grammar mistakes of swapped words that come off weird but nothing too jarring. There are some periods where they just repeatedly say "PAIN" for about 1/4th of the chapter to try to emphasize how much pain something caused, once or twice is fine but it's used fairly regularly. Some of the dialogue is also a bit off, everyone feels a bit fake like they aren't quite responding to his actions, though I'm not sure if this is intentional as a joke about NPC dialogue or just forced plot convenience so certain events happen regardless of his actions. Near chapters 50-60 though they stop showing us scenes that happen and just start telling readers I did blah then blah then now I've been doing blah for a while showing that it's gotten a bit worse over time. 3/5 Stability of updates: Very consistent even when the author was going through some stuff, which they probably should have taken a break for rather than push themselves. 5/5 Story development: The story starts off great, they have an interesting system and the fights were great. They showed someone physically weaker working their way through hardships and using logic to beat bigger foes... then the author decided 'an interesting plot and story? That won't do!' and tosses out all the logic and interesting bits in favor of a generic split-personality guy that randomly goes berserk repeatedly mashes the same super move and acts like an edgy teenager with other characters yet every female character in the story fawns over them including the giant monster ones. Not to mention various cop-outs in order to bypass certain situations so the author won't have to deal with it and random character personality shifts in order for something to happen. 1/5 Character Design: Starts out pretty good then as I said in story development it becomes complete garbage. Before they would logic out fights, now they spam a super move or we don't even see it as it's told to us that he won without using the super move. They used to methodically move area to area and work through things, now they throw fits and steal stuff for no reason while acting like a random edgy child. Because the character's personality is at least interesting for the first 1/3rd-1/2 of the story it at least deserves 2/5. World Background: They do a great job at keeping up with the various background events and fleshing out certain parts about the darksouls world including expanding on how the magic system works and the secrets behind certain aspects not discussed in the game in a way that makes sense. 5/5

Vahn was an atypical youth. Due to a rare mutation, his blood had the potential to target and attack ailments within the human body. Touted as a universal cure, people had elevated his status above the norm and given him the classification "Panacea". In the media, he was hailed as a great hero who would usher in a new era or human wellness. However, behind the scenes things weren't so bright. Being a unique individual, Vahn spent his entire youth locked up in a lab with various scientists and research teams using his body and blood to perform endless amounts of experiments. The only solace in his suffering was the various anime and manga made available to him between experiments. He often imagined himself as the protagonist in a world of his own, finally in control of his own destiny. For years he nurtured this desire, until at the age of 14 he died when an organization had tried to kidnap him from the lab... "Finally, I don't have to suffer anymore..." This was Vahn's last thought as he faded into the endless black abyss... "You poor soul."
