It’s so f * cking chaotic. I wanna preface this review by saying I listen to novels with a text-to-speech so my experience will be different to many others probably. Writing Quality: Initially I thought of it as some disgustingly horrible grammar, but you realise the stilted text is a style that reflects the way the MC thjnks and the story is carried out. I can’t help but feel it adds so much charm to the novel and if it was done intentionally, was such a big plus to not give anything but full marks. The lack of Obvious POV changes makes this slightly confusing, but again, I like to think it truly adds to the charm and the style has got better into V2. 10/5 stars. Updating Stability: well I binged what might have been one of my best reads of the year in essentially one go, so I haven’t got much to comment on this, but from what I can see it’s pretry good. 4.5/5 stars Story Development: Phenomenal. I f * cking love the way the story has gone so far. It’s so chaotic and (insert other adjectives) that it has me too fking eager to read the next chapter. I’ve been on a reading material dry period for the past month and so this was like a bottle of water in the desert. God this is so f* cking good. 6/5stars Character Design: Insanity. This guy is insane. He’s so deranged it hurts my brain trying to figure him out. And I f *cking love it. I can literally feel him getting progressively insane through the novel, and the way his tendencies and possessiveness is written is honestly beautiful. Like the build up to it I thought was really natural and all round wonderfully planned. The side -characters too are honestly great. I love MC’s interactions with them. 9/5 stars. World building: Pretty good. Upon reflection, I feel quite in tune with the world and the school. Sure, the focus of this is the character and the plot but it doesn’t take too much away from the world building. I’ll give it a healthy 3.5/5 stars. I know I’m being biased here, but this, as I said, was like a bottle of water in the middle of a desert for me. This has genuinely got me as excited as when I clicked next episode for anime like death note or code geass. It’s genuinely a thrilling read and I’m surprised it doesn’t have more views honestly. Maybe it’s time to blow it up on discord servers hmm Nice one author, keep it up!

I've been feeling a bit drained the past few days, so this is a great boost to get back to writing — the best review without a doubt! Thank you for reading the novel <3

Glad to hear that. And I can imagine. I remember receiving my first comment and then going on to write 2-3 chapters straight 🤣 If ever you feel publishing as you write is too much, I recommend switching over to like a 4ch/week schedule, and you write as much as you want when you want but publish on certain days. If you put in the work initially, you can build a nice reserve for days you feel like sh* t and can’t be bothered to write etc

I always write as much as I want to, I never follow a schedule (though, when I have a streak, I end up feeling inclined to keep it going). I'm writing this story to write a masterpiece, the story I've always wanted to read but could never find, so I believe in taking the time to make every chapter as good as possible — I will always prioritize quality over quantity, so that usually leads to chapters having 900-1200 words vs. the traditional 1500~ in contracted novels (I've been offered a contract long ago, but I only took it up recently; it should soon get confirmed). Another problem is that some chapters are really difficult to write — you might think Chapter 41 or 40 was one of them, but even while they were so packed, they were actually very natural and easy to write; the hard ones are the ones that will interconnect with later chapters, so I need to be precise with what I write to not mess up any of the future events; similarly, I need to make sure new chapters never contradict the older ones, so in conclusion, everything takes a lot of precision and thought. The story is going to take a long time to conclude, yet it will most likely wrap up only at around chapter 100 — I'm looking forward to you reading, and I hope you'll like the future of the story as well!
