Very good writing! The characters feel really alive and the storyline really draws you in. I really like how you jump right in to the action, but still explain about the situation so that readers are not overly confused. The plot also keeps you in suspense, making me wanting to read more and know what happens next. The first few chapters were a rollercoaster of emotions for me. You nailed their feelings, words and actions perfectly. I actually felt sad for the characters. Your choice of words and use of metaphors and idioms really allows the reader to visualize the character's feelings. Excellent writing! The setting of the world is really intriguing too, though it is quite common: an apocalyptic world with superpowers. However, your writing made it feel really original and interesting to read. I'd give it a solid 9.9/10. I'm definitely going to keep reading this amazing book. Would totally recommend to everyone reading this review. Keep it up, Author!
