I have read a lot and in my entire life of reading novel, I never saw a good harem no matter how many time I saw people this is a good harem story. I used to think I like it in my childhood but it's more like I don't want my girl to not get MC so I tolerate Harem. However as I grown up, I realized I hate it so much. Nowadays if I saw harem tag, I drop that story right away. If there is no tag relate to it then I ask author if they do Harem or not. If they does I ask them to put the tag then leave. :P

Interestingly enough I have never seen people who advocate for harems ever try to take the perspective of someone in the harem. If you really think about it, it's rather cruel and disgusting. Imagine sharing the person you love with like 3 others, or even them having kids alongside you or vice versa.

Wait till you find out about polyamory and the situations in western countries with women having 3 different baby daddies while one guy has to pay child support. Also how is it cruel or disgusting? If you end up joining a harem when given a choice to, that means you are held accountable for your own actions that you decided out of your own volition/free will because you consciously assesed the risks and still accepted.
