I read this one a while back on a different account, but never wrote a review. To be reincarnated and end up with the same person isn't what I had in mind. It was interesting to see how the characters interacted with one another, especially the interaction between Eleanora and Cain. There's definitely tension. My biggest question: Was Cain always a yandere but kept that side of him in check or did he end up becoming a yandere?? I guess I need to read Season 2 to find out.

Answer of your question, he is a sly fox who knows how to get what he wants. He never took those visions lightly and knew something was fissy when Eleanora suddenly became afraid of him. Thus, he played different from the man in his visions. A gentle, caring, soft Cathain whom Eleanora never imagined while hiding his deep obsession, and it worked. She saw the man in her memories and him as different person due to the difference in behaviour, exactly how he wanted because he knew if he revealed his true obsessive nature, she would have never accepted him due to her memories of the past.
