I never wrote a review before but since someone insisted I guess nobody can complain no matter how bad it sounds, first of all, I have never played nor heard of destiny before this story and naturally had to do a little dive into the wiki’s and YouTube clips for context, everything about the story is enjoyable, the gradual growth of the mc is enjoyable and the interactions and dynamics between characters is funny and gives them depth, as with all good things the only downside about this story is the long gap between updates with 1 chapter per month, I mean 12 chapters per year should be considered a crime against chumanity 💀, a truly fantastic story otherwise my review doesn’t do it justice, thank you author for introducing me to destiny hopefully I’ll also get to play it in the future 👍

Don't play Destiny, game is a leech on life. Thanks for the review though, really appreciate it.

The story and lore behind destiny is amazing especially when your playing it season by season but the dlcs have been ramping up in cost so it’s best to get the lore through a YouTube video. As much as I love the game just don’t play it but if you do have fun as it is fun and make sure not to go full black drip

Very useful advice. To be honest, as someone who's played since Destiny 1, the DLC"s are wayyy too expensive. I recall I couldn't get rise of iron until the last few months before D2 release. + The one thing I really hate is the fact that D2 had red war sunsetted. Red War was such a good campaign, I cannot emphasize it enough. Perfect execution, lore was good, missions were interesting. Seeing it get replaced by "Beyond Light" was crushing. Overall though, there's many great DLC's that have come out, but lore tends to get muddy. As a writer, I get annoyed. But as a player, some of these new raids are mad fun.

Bro red war was peak for me as that’s when I first started playing. The campaign was really fun and enjoyable to watch and learn the characters. The only other thing that was equal to it for me was Forsaken(after playing forsaken I’ve only used the ace of spades for pvp and anything that I don’t need a graviton lance for) after that stuff was okay but dlcs started ramping up in price and I didn’t really like that because I couldn’t get my lore that I love from d2 cause of it. The last dlc I bought was beyond light until now since lightfall released. I’ve stopped playing to be honest but it’s still a good game

Very true, forsaken was very nice. Imo though WQ was nice, it seemed just a bit lacking as a campaign. But the raid that came with Witch Queen was absolutely amazing. Beyond Light was nice, but not my favourite for sure. Lightfall was just so-so.

I didn’t play at all during witch queen so I’m biased but I’ve seen some gameplay and I can agree it’s quite nice and while beyond light was okay for me but I hated the hunters for a bit in pvp when it released. Lightfall campaign was amazing to play but after a bit it got boring but the cutscene when entering the traveler was peak
