Of all the stories I've ever read on this site, this one upset me the most. It evoked a deep, visceral emotion that toed the line between hate, frustration and disgust. I read till chapter 40. And honestly... Drake's right about most of the things she says about the MC, and I absolutely hate it. I hate the way the author chose to write her, and the MC. Drake completely ruined the story for me, on a fundamental level. Her, and the later Straw Hat plot direction. The story evoked very strong feelings in me, but unfortunately, they were mostly negative. If you want to see a REALISTIC fat useless otaku insert into the world... give it a try. But be prepared for what that realistic word really contains.

honestly same, I hated everything after that confrontation and I didn't even go that much further. While I dislike Gary Stus who just have everything going for them, this takes it to the other extreme and ruined the story. The author should have made it so their skills are at the same level but their strength is based on him, even if that isn't faithful to the type-moon universe
isn't this a good writing then? author manage to convey to the reader that the mc need help. to the point on triggering the reader's hate just because mc had the power to be OP, doesn't mean he's okay in the head. most of us as reader forgot about that. thinking everything will be okay and mc suddenly turned into Chad. especially when it comes to harem genre. though I drop this novel because the update is so slow at that time.
That's why I gave it three stars instead of one. The author knows what he's doing, even if I find it fundamentally disgusting.

True, but this is the type of story that only a people who like being degraded would enjoy. The problem is the MC seem to have every negative trait possible added into him.
