Honestly it is not bad, unfortunately only the power system exclusive to fairies is explained, the universal method of mana recieves no explanation by the author and even what should be an accurate guess based on vague mentions the author throws out the window by introducing something new and exclusive to the MC. It is a nice story unfortunately the author really has a tendency to not really explain much, this is the biggest example but not really the only thing that lacked any explanation.

That isn't really an excuse to not explain things, you just throw them in story, refuse to explain and call it a day. Rather than what you said this is more a wish fulfillment power trip.

Since I did not explain to the readers in the book. For those in the Lower World to ascend, need to create a mana core. Currently, most have no mana cores. In the celestial realm, there are 9 known magic tiers and each has three stages, Early, Peak and Perfection. Actually, in the previous version, I have made an auxiliary chapter to explain quite a few things.
