Reading 20 chapters doesn't really show whether the whole story would be good. But as far as I can see, I like the FL and ML. The FL is strong and knows that she deserve better. I really admire her walking away without regrets and dramas out of that toxic relationship. ML is respectful and doesn't force FL into anything immediately. He's treating her well and his subtle remarks shows his intentions but understand his limits. Love them both.

Just happy that it sounds like the ex will not be the main love interest. No matter how much remorse he has, the ex sounds like scum. The potential male lead seems much more respectful and kind, though that may change - it has only been 25 chapter so far.

This story is refreshing and interesting! There is no transmigration (though stories on transmigration isn’t bad), no unnecessary lines or face slapping. The face slapping is well and truly deserved. The FL is not ominipotent, she’s just your everyday woman who has had a heartbroken but is firm in her decisions. I really hope this novel can be choosen.
