Perona[8] (ペローナ, Perōna), surnommée "La Princesse Fantôme" (ゴーストプリンセス, Gōsuto Purinsesu) en référence à ses pouvoirs, était la chef des Animaux Zombies et de l'Embuscade des Zombies de Thriller Bark, avant la chute de Gecko Moria. Elle a été l'un des principaux antagonistes de l'Arc de Thriller Bark, étant donné qu'elle faisait partie du Quatuor Monstrueux avec le Docteur Hogback, Absalom et Gecko Moria. Elle est cependant devenue, pendant l'ellipse, une sorte d'alliée de l'équipage du Chapeau de Paille en aidant Roronoa Zoro sur l'île de Dracule Mihawk [9], et en leur permettant de quitter l'Archipel Sabaody.

Perona[8] (ペローナ, Perōna), nicknamed "The Ghost Princess" (ゴーストプリンセス, Gōsuto Purinsesu) in reference to her powers, was the leader of Thriller Bark's Zombie Animals and Zombie Ambush, before the fall of Gecko Moria. She served as one of the main antagonists of the Thriller Bark Arc, given that she was part of the Monstrous Quartet along with Doctor Hogback, Absalom, and Gecko Moria. She did however, during the timeskip, become something of an ally to the Straw Hat crew by helping Roronoa Zoro on Dracule Mihawk's island [9], and allowing them to leave the Sabaody Archipelago.
