I was hesitant to read it because the introduction had the harem vibes :D I am glad its not a harem. ( I just dont like it. If you add it its fine. Your story.) Harem is tras* allways nonsensically built and full of beta hormones. Like " she is hot tho... let me help her." and we will read 100 reasons why its just for her sake and not weak desire controll, 10 chapters later the girl gives weird reasons why she would love to stay. As a normal person that has met real women I hate it. Because those tropes actually alter peoples perspectives/ expectations.

yo it's not that deep it's only novel 😂😂 and also novels are more science fiction so you can't compare them with real life and also the problem why you don't like harem is because you read the type of novel that are all about girls without story but there's some great ones that harem enhance the story not the main focus the problem it's hard to make harem if you not good writer so that's why most harem novel are trash sometimes because authors don't know how to write them but sometimes when you find talented writer and he writes harem it will be some legendary novel of the century and for me its boring to read romance with one girl because after that the excitement is gone in terms of emotions we know that's the girl there's nothing after that in real life that's okay because it's you who is living those emotions you don't get board but when reading novel it can get boring but with harem you will always know there's more in terms of romance especially the dynamics between the girls and how Mc figure out balance but it's hard to make good one
