The lead characters have a quarrel from the start but the informal way they treat each other with honesty is so refreshing. I cannot wait to uncover all the mysteries. I’m so excited for Author western historical story! She had done wonderfully with Eastern historical, I’m sure this story would be as wonderful as her other novels.

Read the first few chapters and I am already in love with the ML😘 I have always loved such graceful and elegant leads rather than arrogant ones, so I will wholeheartedly support the story. I'm in love with Edouard. You know why? Guys with Unrequited Love and finally getting them gives me you. Imagine how much he will treasure his Lady! The story starts with the death of Charlotte's first husband and let's not get into the depth of it because I'm a Edouard girl and Mathieu has nothing to do with me. You just need to read first few chapters and you will understand the flow of the story. It's just amazing. Everything about it is amazing. I am really wishing for Charlotte to give her new husband a chance to love and care for her but I agree that he needs to earn.

I've read the full story. I'm completely in love with all the characters. Especially the Main male lead. Every single one was human enough to have a good and a bad side.The characters were well portrayed. I've learnt many things myself along this journey. But among them, "being gracious to others AND yourself" was something that I'll always remember.Ray. You did so well dear. Though if someday you ever plan to release a hardcopy version, let us know. This book has an intriguing start and a mystery that captivates you from the start. If you like royalty and historical novels this is a great one. The characters are relatable and layered. I love a slow reveal and this book delivers.

So, the author is good with her writing and is aware of the plot development. The vibe is light and the characters are described in great detail. What hooked me are the few facts that will be discovered in the future, and I will not give spoilers. The only thing that I would have liked to be a bit more, is the world building. Other than that it was a satisfying read.
