I read the raws but didn’t finish reading the entire book. There were, of course, a lot of twists and turns. It was a good read but it didn’t hold my attention to finish it much less read all the chapters. I skipped a lot of the chapters as I was, ah bored?, or rather I was not that enthused to read those chapters. I just pity the FL for her insomnia as I could relate to her. I have to take meds for my insomnia first because of stress from my work and I need to sleep right away so I can get up the next day. Then it was because of pain and my health that my insomnia was u bearable. So, insomniacs are really cranky and impatient. The desire to sleep is there but you could not just fall asleep. Or your sleep is too short. So the FL’s antics in doing her utmost to get sleep is understandable. She’s not harming anyone. But I just don’t understand why she didn’t remarry when her ex-husband remarried to another woman.😤. Even if he was forced to by events, he still married another woman and gave glory to that woman🤬😤

I read it I thought it was good even if male lead was overbearing as he let go of her so that she can live and even she did same for his heart surgery

The story is good but I was reading other books that have more allure. I stopped and skipped throughout since it was draggy. The ML was ok. He let her go but she was pregnant. He chose another woman to marry and broke his promise to her. Though he was forced by circumstances, I just wished that the FL also remarried. So there would be that twist for her and not just the typical single-mom.
I do agree with you but I think author wanted to end the story so he did not do much as novel ended shortly after simply packing the villians once as I personally thought that there might be extra story of ml's mother and for insomnia part also I think I can relate, but it might be that I somewhat sympathised and thought that author did not try to show ml omnipotent that he can easily do anything.
He wasn’t omnipotent because if he was, he wouldn’t have married that vile woman. She was sooooo irritating😤 like most villains. But yes, the end was a bit hurried. One thing I liked was one of the villains turned into a good character. He supported the ML when the ML became the President. But it was still a good read.🥰
yes I do liked it over some other novels that are way too dog blooded with all those misunderstandings and torture
so the ML remarried, but the FL stayed single mom without remarriage, and that's how it ended?they never got back together afterwards?
They got back together in the end after too many assassinations or attempts to get rid of the FL and her children. Like seriously, I was rooting for that Senior Brother of hers.🥰. I wanted them to have a relationship together. But he was married to that Sect daughter…😤
