Such a great story with an amazing, one-of-a-kind world. However the updates are soo slow. If there were more dependable updates, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this top the charts. It’s so unique and enthralling! I was wary of reading another novel from this author after we readers were kind of left hanging on the last novel (Heart of Darkness which was also great but never completed) and I fear the same thing might happen again here. Their first book, Married to the Devil’s son was so good that I eagerly dive into their other reads. Hoping that both books will be completed one day because the world-building, character development, storytelling is all *chef’s kiss*! Print-worthy tales!

I also don't appreciate you going around and trying to discourage my readers from reading my work and spreading false info. Yes, the update rate on midnight surrender is slow but my readers are aware of my schedule and had you actually read the book, you would know my chapters may be few but one chapter is often the length of 3 to 4 chapters. Your constant complaints and now this is not a good look. If you don't like the book or my way of doing things as an author I hope you can move on respectfully.

Thank you for the amazing review 🥰❤. I just want to say that heart of darkness was never left unfinished. The book is a series of seven books addressing each of the seven deadly sins. I finished writing two books/two sins. Those stories are finished. I left a message and explained that the third book would release once I have figured out the plot as every book has its own plot. Hope this helps and don't worry. I have so far not left any of ny works unfinished here on webnovel 😊 For the updates, I do daily updates on this novel and have been doing so since its release until recently since I am dealing with some family health issues, but I will get back to daily updates as soon as I can 😊.
Hello. I have seen your comments and you have stated in several previous comments from weeks ago that you lost interest. I got the message the first time.You got my messages too but they are not satisfactory to you which is fine. I never said I wouldn't finish this work in my message. I say it again. I will. I hope you find something of your interest. I understand your frustration but I have already given my explanation. Now the choice is up to you but constant complaints won't change anything.

Jasmine Not everyone understands that authors are human like everyone else here (unless there are a few supernaturals checking you out!). They expect to get updates on their schedule regardless of things in someone's life. And if they don't get what they want they show their true self. I respectfully ask you to remove your post from my in box. This appears at the top of my inbox every time someone one likes any of my post on your books. My comment was not meant to upset or offend, nor was I trying to mislead anyone. Just my response to a readers question.
