I get why these kinds of comment exist in the first place, but I just wonder why they detest it so much as if the whole story is about the mc being a simp. It's just in the earlier parts of the story where the mc was just stranded in a whole different world where he didn't even know what he was and the girl helped him to become a better demon. With the demoness' jumpstart, the mc got the boost and initial foundation that he needed to start making decisions for himself and for his self growth. The mc infatuation with the demoness wouldn't be what this story about. Saying that after just reading the first part of the story, not even reading the later chapters really made me question these people.
