why does it get boring? I intended to make a fanfic about an op character that had development in his character ie personality rather than power, so why did it strike it you as boring? I am willing to correct my mistakes so that it doesn't affect the future experience of the story

People have different expectations. You can't control what they want as we are all different. All you can do is improve on what you lack as an author.
