Author here with a shameless 5 :DDD For those who have just started reading, the friendzoning is a little delayed. It should appear within the first 30 chapters though. Before the friendzoning, I wanted to give small backgrounds on everyone around the FL Haneul so it is easier to relate to her friendzoning later on. The ML Yeom Tae appears to be arrogant and aggressive, but is very very bubbly, soft, smooth and nice so prepare for the good romance part later on. It's slow romance though, so please sit tight hehe. Haneul's friends, Haru and Youngsoo have their own small arcs which I will be revealing in the later chapters. Some small fun facts: 1. Haru is based on myself. Yes, everything she says and does is entirely what I say and do :D. 2. Haru's cat Luna is based on a guest cat I had named Luna. I also have a friend named Luna who asked for a cameo so yes xD. I infused cat Luna and Human Luna. 3. Haneul's reason of being a Pediatrician has more depth to it, which will be explained later on. It's based on a real story from a friend :D What to expect: 1. Soft, slow romance. 2. Wholesome friendship. 3. Teeny Tiny action and drama. 4. Small betrayals o-o 5. Mafia + Doctor adventures. 6. Side characters' love life. What not to expect: 1. 18+ stuff. The rating should've made it clear by now :3 2. Too much serious stuff. This is a rom com. 3. Love Triangles. Overall, I hope you guys enjoy this story. It is very very different from my first two books since they give more of a heavy, sad, philosophical outlook. It's not my first time writing comedy focused novels but I'm still a little nervous because my humor sucks xD. Also, I'm not the best at writing romance so if you want the heart pumping, super intense and passionate romance then this book isn't for you. However, if you're looking for soft, wholesome, awkward, and bubbly romance, then this is defo for you :D While you're at it, go check out my other works too kek. Rating 5 Chapters Read:12 of 12 as of 5/18/22 Plot: Excellent We haven't even gotten to friend zoning and already I can feel the depth of the characters. From Haneul's back story to motivations and her faults. Very clearly delivered. The ML' doesn't have much going for him but dude is smooth as butter. Interested to see how he reacts to the latest spin at the dinner past Chap 13. Story flow : Excellent Story is simple but not hard to follow, the scenes transitions like water and are both believable and not forced. The exposition is also done in light heaps to give focus on the elements in the current chapter. even her friends are introduced one by one. So you will never be lost. Favorite Chapter: Chapter 7 Chaos - Mr Bowel movements had me laughing out loud for a good minute. Favorite Character: Haru - girl is supportive as a sister, dear as a friend , hairdresser, nanny and driver all in one. if Haneul is the gloom she is the sunshine. 3 things I liked 1. Chapter 7 hands down. 2. Friendship of Haneul,Haru and Youngsoo 3. While reading I learned Koreans eat rice with a spoon, even with chopsticks on hand. 3 Things I didn't like 1. Haneul's mood swings, as a guy it is difficult for me to follow her trail of thought. 2. Haneul's reason for being a pediatrician - I don't know if I can call her a romanticist or an idiot 3. The entire deal with the hospital, while I get what it is as a plot device. it seems to invalidate everything Yeom Tae has done. its unfair to my boy. Overall Review: My Wife Friend zoned me because I am a Mafia is a novel that wonderfully blends a slow romance with light hearted comedy and plot exposition. each character feels like a true person and not just a cardboard trope cut out. Haru_Catty is particularly gifted in her vivid descriptions, one thing I wish to learn from. The writing quality is superb as I only found 2 typos across 2 chapters. The scenes transition without breaking immersion and feel wholly natural. the thing I like the most is the interactions of Haneul and Haru. Course every scene with Yeom Tae is so smooth even as a guy I need to punch a wall just to feel manly again. overall great work! I'm sure you would get contracted soon enough. Well done!

Got a few laughs in reading this, the pacing was good and although I don't really read romance novels, this one caught my attention. Keep up the good work and nice cover book

I've read the previous 2 books of the author and it's safe to say that this will be just as good. Don't miss out! The title of the book leaves you in a limbo and asks you to read it, so I read it. So far, I haven't found anything like the title, but that's because the characters are slowly progressing towards the climax. I'm honestly hyped and can't wait for the climax to show up. With the vast characters as such, I believe the climax will be amazing. Writing quality is top notch, the updates are stable, story seems a bit slow paced but we'll get there eventually, the characters need a bit more depth because we don't know a lot right now. It adds a hint of suspense too. The world background isn't shown a lot, but gradually it is being covered. Overall, a very soft read it is. Give it a try! You will surely like it.

I've been reading this novel ever since it dropped and it's safe to assume that it's one of my most favorite rom-coms. I've read the previous 2 books from the author as well. All the works are beautiful and this work has built a special place in my heart. I love the chemistry between Haneul, Haru and Youngsoo. They're a cute trio and their friendship is warm and cozy. It's like a safe place inside the chaotic comedy of the novel. Yeom Tae is the best boy ever. I love how thoughtful he is. He's smooth as butter and always manages to makes me want more of the novel. The novel is based in Korea and you can tell that a lot of research was put into it as it looks realistic and contemporary. I enjoy the descriptions and dialogues equally and it doesn't bore me at all. In conclusion, read the novel to find out the beauty of it. [img=recommend]

I have read the first two chapters and I think the writing is good, the story is also quite interesting. A romance story about the matchmaking of a rich man's child, I hope there will be a surprise later. I hope this story continues. Spirit!

Usually I simply look at the cover of a novel then the title and jump into reading since I don't see much point in reading the synopsis but after I read the title, I had no idea what to expect so I was forced to read the synopsis. The premise of the novel seems good so I started reading it. Something you'll notice right away is the writing quality of the novel which is amazing. All that needs improvement is the depth of the characters which should come naturally as at the time I am writing this review, the novel is pretty new.

I find it difficult to read , maybe it's because of the names. Story looks interesting.

Finished the book! 5 it is! though the story was cramped and a little bit fast paced, it was still a good read. The innocence of the author has been well implemented in the novel 😁👍. I recommend. hehehe
