After reading all of MishaK’s other books, I had a feeling I was going to be in for a rollercoaster of a ride. And… I wasn’t disappointed. As I was still reading Illeus: The Dark Prince, I noticed a name mentioned that I vaguely remember seeing somewhere. Lo and behold, it was the name of the ML of this story. I was thinking that this was going to be a separate story, but OH NO, MishaK knows how to connect worlds and characters without sacrificing the integrity of the original story. I typically don’t write reviews until I’ve completed the book. However, I’ve gotten far enough to know that much like MishaK’s other books, it’s jammed packed with adventure, turmoil, Illeus’ library 😂 (if you know, you know 😏), amazing world building and climatic resolutions even before it’s completion. I’ve enjoyed all the books I’ve read from MishaK and I recommend this one as well for those who are interested in fast paced, smexiness, and adventure. 1,000,000 out of 10 would recommend 👏🏾

MishaK has hit gold again! This story ties in with her series of Adrianna, Daryn, and Ileus and is just a continuation but with its own vibe and beauty. The way Misha is able to paint a story is exquisite and leaves the reader actually visualizing the characters and scenery. The characters are well written and the plots are not only cohesive that you can read this as a stand alone but with drops of familiar and past characters for those who have read her other books to have those Easter eggs along the way or tie back to a previous story. It leaves the reader to want to explore the other books in her series to become acquainted with these lovable characters. Bonus is the feedback Misha provides to her readers. Whether it is through the comments section or her Discord channel, between her vivid storytelling and cheerful conversations, you feel like you have been friends with her for years and not just a reader interacting with an author.

MishaK novels are known for great character and world building while also keeping the pace and romance moving along quickly. This book is off to a great start and I'm loving the strong leads and mysterious back-stories that are starting to unravel. This is one book you'll find hard to put down. Bonus, we'll probably see at least one old friend from another MishaK novel make an appearance.

The book's opening is strong. It hooks with a fantastic world building and very well presented characters.
