If had been anything but vampires this would have worked. A crippling weakness and the massive change in diet are all aspects that make it kinda boring. Vampires also are kinda boring as a main character. They never work well.

I mean I did take out the sun weakness, and the weaknesses give him room to grow stronger. But I understand thanks for the review
I get it but you could've done without the vampire stigma altogether. You could have given him the deathstroke serum, you could've given him magic experimentation on the island. You could have given him meta abilities. Vampires , to me atleast, do nothing for fantasy or scifi when it’s under the main scope of the story unless your writing about the distant past or some girl focused drama. The stigma is to prevalent to ignore as a story device.
Hm, well I did it mainly because of the abilities they have in dc, tied with the fact he will be able to evolve more. I’m trying not to stigmatize him to much. Magic will be a heavy source of combat potential for him later.
