I just want to ask why there is an "overpowered" tag, I know you said MC won't become op easily, which I like, I dislike those tags. Is he guaranteed to become op at some point or will we get a good progression and him just maintaining a healthy margin of strength for his level above his peers?

no no, mc is overpowered. he will face troubles, but his journey will be a lot smoother than a weak to strong mc. when i said he will take his time, i am talking about the schemes and other things. mc isnt good in that department. as for strength, he is strong and will overpower his opponents. this book isn't where enemies comes to the mc. here, mc is in the darkness, enemies are out in the open, mc chooses when to attack and therefore can easily overpower his opponents. hope that helps.

finally! a book with war setting that won't get wishy washed by morals like I won't kill innocents!! or a book about a non human MC but still cares for the other race!! like a demon king yet still saves human!! I have enjoyed the novel so far. The mc was really annoying for the first few chapters but his character has improved over the course of the novel. I wish that more than one chapter was released a day as the chapters feel too short. Highly recommend reading it.

Felt important so i think i should talk about this. i know how important the mc of the story can be, some people do not like Azriel, so here are his character traits. -he kills innocents. -he is naive and reckless. -he likes to fight and get stronger. -he does not like to read. of course, it will change in the future, he will be the one who leads the empire, a leader can't be a Brute who doesn't think anything. He will change and get better. Actually, he is already a lot better than before within 30ish chapters and will keep on improving as the story progress. please be patient with him and me. hmm hmm, that's all i wanted to say. I hope have a great time reading.

This book as of chapter eight is really good to read and has a bit of myster as for why the mc had that dream and, if the system is his own cheat or comes with mysterious blood which he got. [Stability of Updates] ⭐⭐⭐ The author can miss a day or two but the usual upload schedule is once a day [Story Development] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a pretty good novel I must say. The main character starts off as irritating and does dumb mistakes but he learns from them and doesn't repeat them. I really liked the idea of vampires who were at the top of the chain, feared by all turning into an oppressed race and slowly but surely starting to stand for themselves to overpower every opposer and stand proud as the strongest and feared race [Character Design] ⭐⭐⭐ The character designs are not bad, they're what you expect of a vampire novel. [World Background] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love the lore behind the world and I hope we'll get more info on different countries, kingdoms, religions, etc.

Unlike your first book this mc is really not great. Naive Stupid prideful The story is interesting but very slow. The pov change so early in the story to show other characters is very bad in my opinion because I think side characters and mobs shouldn’t get so much screen time. The whole nationalsm like fanatics of the vampire race is also very annoying and I feel good that they lost because of how they act.

Ok so this book is great, the evil mc with a deep hatred against humans is what makes this story stand out from the rest of the vampire novels. However I don't particularly like the idea of Vampires being shown as the weakest race or believed to be so, as to me what makes Vampires unique is their arrogance and superiority complex and the deep fear they struck in the hearts of humans.
