Review Detail of SoftyVV in Humanity's Greatest Mecha Warrior System

So... I have zero ideas as to why and how this book managed to make it into the top rankings. Most likely due to a combo of the right tags plus consistent and fast release schedule. I've only read up to chapter 21 but I feel that 20 chps is a reasonable amount too read to be able to form a basic opinion. And that is this; don't read this if you like the English language and its ability to describe and Invision certain things in books because you get none of that here. Up to the point I'm at they've introduced two main characters and they've had maybe a total of two conversations so far. The MC(Sam/max) has the ability to read minds which in most scenarios would be an amazing ability to have except for the fact that Max does not think. Literally. He has zero inner dialogue so what did it matter if he can read minds if he doesn't have the capacity to use said knowledge. The two main characters would be interesting if either of them had characters to begin with, even a single motivation or trait that isn't surface level. Don't even get me started on the pacing issue, let's just say that in 20 chps the two mcs have been viewed from birth all the way into the academy arc and are almost done with it, I say that because they instantly attract the attention of Op mentor character to guide then to becoming super mech soldiers. The only reason I've read this far was because I was baiting myself into thinking the author was smarter than I thought and had a reason for railroading and rushing every single thing, spoiler alert he doesn't. I was intrigued by the other reviews and the fact it's high ranked but it's delusional to even put this on the and rank as some of the other books on this app. Also there is the fact that it goes premium after chp 50 and I would be remiss in my duty to my ancestors if I payed a single cent on this "novel". I would rather rate this a zero but I can't lie to myself, there is indeed story, characters, plot and so it can't technically be a zero because a zero is the absence of those things, but boy am I tempted. TLDR bad everything except release schedule and it goes paid at chp 50
