The promised edited review here. Might seem a bit bias, but eh. The story's very slow paced at the beginning and slice of life-ish, but it does introduces the character quickly, and naturally. I like how the characters interact with one another, with how it doesn't seem forced with no chemistry between them, and how none of the crew are being treated like secondary characters, and left in the background (like some novels I've read with a big main cast). It has great fight scene(s), interactions, and commentary. I personally like the comedy duo with Mysie, and Kali, Hestia's, and Lucas's teasing big sister- reluctant victim dynamic, and the crew's dynamic childhood friend circle in general. Personally waiting for more chapters of the crew's voyage, and journey to kickassness and badassdery level of respect.
