I have not read even a sentence of the Novel, but I wanted to bring attention to the fact that your sypnosis makes no Sense. His Goal is to surpass his father, right? As a crew mate of another crew???? You see the problem, right? Don't even want to read a Story with such a blank reasoning.

Don’t bother reading this. This is just what one piece anime and manga potray just add one completely useless MC. He didn’t do anything in this story and he is weak even with his haki and training with his father Shank. Keep getting beat up by some random cannon fodder even with his haki. To keep it simple this fanfic is basically one piece. And even when something serius or fatal happened he just laugh and act like complete stupid ignorant bug. “DAHAHAHAH” even his laugh are annoying. There is nothing Significant happen in this story. Not evn a single bit. That’s how disappointing this story is. Bruh

an okey story so far. The fact that the mc is the son of Shanks is interesting. That the mc is part of Luffys crew has absolutely no impact at all on the story so far. Everything happens pretty much excactly like the manga. I hope you have something planned for the MCs powers because the fact that he just fights with kicks and punches is getting old fast. I hope he will get a cool devil fruit power soon.
