It's quite the original and interesting idea, there is no hêll or heaven... Just a trial based on what you did on earth, if you succeed, you become a god, if not; eternal suffering. In this case, the MC must clear 1000 floors of a dungeon along with summoned beings that he can get from anime/manga at a cost. Thing is that he can die anytime and be respawned at Floor 0, but if any of his summons dies, it's permanent. And he can only fail the trial if he gives up. So as long as he doesn't give up on despair he can keep trying to clear the dungeon as many times as necessary. Author, I believe it's necessary to increase the size of each floor as he goes on, like in Sword Art Online where each floor has a city and a huge area to conquer to reach the next floor instead of just a room. Also instead of an Inn every 50 levels. You can make it that after Floor 100, Its no longer a room, but an island size area, which progressively grows bigger and making the MC have to search for the Stairs to the next floor. With a safe place on each floor that also grows bigger. Starting with a hut, then house, villa, mansion, village, town, city, metropolis, etc. Where he can buy things but the people living there will just give quest to MC but will not go on their way to actively help out mc, and may only offer hints and quests. And to avoid MC staying in a floor for to much time, make it a penalty where if MC stops desiring to progress, meaning he is giving up, its a failure.
