As many have accented earlier, I too am not entirely happy with the volactile personality of Ren and other characters, but what amazes me most is the fact that the title contains the word "alchemy", of which, in the last 200 chapters, I have not even seen the shadow. Maybe some hints in the first chapters, but personally I have yet to see some alchemy applied in the novel.

MiuNovels:thanks for the review. alchemy will happen in middle arcs. this story is divided in 2. 1 is his journey into becoming one. 2 is the stroy when he becomes one
Alchemy arrives at chapter 460~470.The title and description are just false advertising.Who cares about how he becomes an alchemist? It's not that grand a class in my mind.I stopped at chapter 10 or so because I discovered the difficulties of the MC becoming an alchemist and I searched the chapters to see when he would become one and it's so late. Too late to get motivated.Maybe in the story, Alchemist is a super class and the difficulties would make sense. But it's a crafting class for the MC to earn money. What would be the point?I hate the stories about video games where the game goes beyond the realm of a game.I thought he would craft potion from day 1 and get rich with that. Add some adventures and quests to have some actions but I wanted a novel centered around a crafting class. I'm pretty sure that's not what this story is about.
