This is just Personal speculation but it might as well be sure, This seems to be missing the tragedy and Betrayal Tags. Betrayal is not so much yet but it may be coming up. First up The MC lost his parents at a young age. This resulted in a tragic lifetime growing up due to constant bullying which lowers his self-esteem. Then they add an ark where the MC only leftover a family member his cousin is murdered. For no real reason my I add, Just to make the MC the enemy of the evil organization. I feel like since this novel as of now does not have a tragedy tag then it should steer clear of tragic deaths to "Motivate" the MC. Now the Betrayal aspect is coming up. One of the girls in the recent chapter "The Leaker" we are informed that one girl in his team is in cahoots with the organization and would betray. Girls are Krista(Childhood friend)- Don't see her like it. she has been lost to the MC plus her mom and she was almost killed by the organization. Courtney(New Team Member)-Leaked info about the MC but did not "Know" the harm in doing so. I feel like she's a prime suspect so it won't really change the dynamic if it's her but again I feel like they are making us think it's her but in reality, it's not. Maria(Girlfriend? Not official I guess)- Rich family but looked down upon. Wants to be "Prove" Her worth? I see her as a suspect because at the end of the chapter mentioned above the girl in cahoots with the evil organization Talks about wanting to prove herself and after hanging up the mysterious girl's tasks in the mirror trying to I guess push herself to do the mission. If it is Maria she may like him but wants to be good for the organization so she motivates herself by saying "For a Better World" while looking in the mirror. Allana(Krista's Old roommate/Friend) is-Least likely suspect but can be the reason why her brother took so long to rescue the MC cousin and the rest of the Evacuees Overall many people don't like Masochistic MCS that constantly get tragic events and betrayals so they tend to skip stories with those tags. If it is His girlfriend then that kills the whole story and will lose many viewers. The only safe one to get rid of is Courtney. She is new to the group and is not really invested by the reader. But if it's someone like Maria Then the tags really need to be there to let potential readers know this might be one of those constant Mc losing friends stories. I can already Imagin the traitor killing the MC's childhood friend just to give him another "Motivation" again. So those that are tired of constant tragedy stories might want to wait on this until we see if it's going to happen. Buy might as well get the Betrayal and Tragedy tags put in if the story would continue to follow this path.
