This is not the case, Ronnie stood in front of Harry many times when he was attacked for example when they thought Sirius was being attacked. Do not forget the poverty of Ron's family and other circumstances.

This is a great novel but it has been so long Since the author has posted a new chapter I fear that this is just another dropped novel, It was going well until people started criticizing it because the MC was "babysitting" the golden trio. the MC is a teacher it was his job to teach and protect his students if that's babysitting then everyone here has gone though at least 12 years of said babysitting.
