I don’t actually mind this part, if you had taken time in the beginning to flesh it out in a way that doesn’t make him look stupid(he is by the way) or hinted at it. You probably rushed it or just randomly decided this idea, idk or care. MC is trash grammar, not too great. the system is sentient… who would have guessed?
